Aluminium 7075 Tubing is a zinc-based alloy that includes zinc (5.6–6.1%), magnesium (2.1–2.5%), copper (1.2–1.6%), along with trace amounts of chromium, iron, silicon, and titanium, with aluminium making up the rest. This unique blend gives it one of the best strength-to-weight ratios among aluminium alloys. Its mechanical properties boast an ultimate tensile strength of up to 572 MPa and a yield strength of around 503 MPa, depending on the temper. It offers good fatigue resistance, decent machinability, and moderate corrosion resistance.
