Super duplex steel boiler tubes are generally produced from grades such as UNS S32750 and S32760, with a two-phase microstructure balance of austenite and ferrite. The alloy has high chromium (24–26%), molybdenum (3–5%), and nickel (6–8%) content, which gives it outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically, it has very high tensile and yield strength, excellent fatigue life, and good weldability.
